You will find variation in the cost of wedding cakes between suppliers. There is also considerable variation in terms of quality, taste, finish and attention to detail. Scattercake prides itself on absolute quality above all else, which is why:

• We always make our own cakes.
• We always use only the very best ingredients: free range eggs, best butter, organic flour from local Costwold Millers, raw cane sugar, carefully selected vine fruits (none of which are sulphured), finest conserves, natural oils and flavourings (including some of our own).
• We never use artificial additives or preservatives (which may be present in cake mixes or bought-in cakes).
• We always take the time to make sure that every stage of every cake is as perfect as possible.
